The Clear Channel on-line platform, iHeartRadio is welcoming non-Clear Channel stations to the party. It was announced today that Greater Media, an owner of 22 AM and FM stations primarily in the northeast, will be joining the host of Clear Channel stations already streaming on this revolutionary platform developed by Clear Channel Communications, Inc. Back in the fall of 2011, Clear Channel announced the addition of all 570 Cumulus Media stations to the platform but, oddly enough, did not give a date. This time, Clear Channel has come to their senses and given a date (or at least a month) when Greater Media's 22 stations will be available on this one platform. This date is April 2012. The only major operator missing now is CBS Radio. Well, CBS Radio DOES have their own platform called Radio.com after all. Why would they want to switch?
